The location search tool allows you to discover different locations in the viewer.

Accessing the Location Search Tool

Open the location search tool by clicking on the search icon at the top of the left toolbar.

You can close the location search tool by clicking on the icon again.

Searching

You can use the location search tool to search for locations by address, city or state, or geographic coordinates (formatted in decimal degrees).

Your zoom level will be maintained when searching, meaning that if you start a search when zoomed out to zoom level 5, you will see the results of your search also at zoom level 5. Likewise, if you initiate a search when you are zoomed in to zoom level 20, your results will appear at zoom level 20, too.

Search History

The location search tool saves your five most recent searches. To return to one of those locations, click on it in the list.
