Screenshot
In the Viewer, you can take a screenshot of your screen. This tool will download an image that shows the imagery on the screen and any imported data or drawings/measurements the user has added. Tools such as the timeline, compass control, and status bar will not show up on the screenshot.
The screenshot can be used in both 2D and 3D mode. When you are ready to take a screenshot, simply click the screenshot button in the toolbar.
A screenshot will be taken and downloaded immediately. It may take a few moments for the screenshot to finish downloading. This is the screenshot result taken from the image above:
There is no limit to how many screenshots you can take in the Viewer.
Download
If your usage agreement allows for it, you can download a bundle of images for the location you’re looking at. One “download” counts as a bundle that includes a .zip file with the following:
Nadir image (.jpg)
Nadir image metadata (.csv)
North image (.jpg)
North image metadata (.csv)
South image (.jpg)
South image metadata (.csv)
East image (.jpg)
East image metadata (.csv)
West image (.jpg)
West image metadata (.csv)
To download a bundle, use the timeline to select the dataset you want to download from, and ensure you’re in 3D mode. Center your view on the location of interest (right click > center map here) to get the best results. Then click the download button on the toolbar.
Click download in the dialogue box to initiate the download.
If your usage agreement doesn’t allow for downloads, or you’ve run out of your allotted amount, you’ll see a message informing of this. Contact your Vexcel customer service representative to unlock more downloads.
The download may take a few moments, up to a minute. When your download is complete, unzip the folder that has downloaded to access your data.
Note that the download includes the full images, so they may seem zoomed out. Below is a north oblique image downloaded from the location above.
