What is the cost? (not just for statewide highways, but as a cost per mile)
Elements Roadways data cost per mile ranges between $10-$20 depending on total number of miles requested.What is the delivery type for the data? (Download, streaming service, etc.)
Elements Roadway data is made available by default in .csv file format and uses Well-known text (WKT) format to describe linestring and polygon geometry. Data can be made available in other file formats including ESRI geodatabase, geojson, etc.Do you get to keep the data? How is it licensed?
Yes. The data is provided with a perpetual license.Does the data license expire?
No. The data license is perpetual.What are the general terms and use restrictions?
Vexcel allows Elements Roadways data to be incorporated into customer databases (e.g., ingredient into another product with attribution). Restrictions are to not post Roadway Elements publicly on a standalone basis.What is the frequency of capture?
Vexcel Elements - Roadways data can be made available with every Vexcel Data Program imagery collection. Up to 3X a year in Urban areas, ~18-24-month cycle for rural areas.Is data immediately available?
Vexcel Elements - Roadways are run on a request basis. Delivery times can be as short as 48 hrs. for small city areas. Turnaround is dependent on processing time.Does the data come with attribution?

The current Elements Roadways roadmap includes 1) performance enhancements via additional training data and AI tuning. 2) New and/or enhanced features including additional infrastructure such as channelization islands, sidewalks and medians; and additional identification of colored pavements including green (bike), red (transit), purple (toll). 3) An enhanced Elements API to support dynamic requests for roadway data.Can we get a sample of data?
Yes. To get started with an evaluation please work with your Vexcel sales representative and provide polygon file for the area of interest and a road centerline file defining roads of interest.
